Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park
A major tourist attraction in Bali, the Garuda Winsu Kencana Cultural Park is located approximately 15 minutes from the airport. The entire park is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu and covers an area of more than 60 hectares. Its main features is a 75-meter-tall statue of Vishnu. Perched on a pedestal, it brings the total height of the monument to 121 meters. Weighing nearly 4,000 tons, it is the heaviest statue in Indonesia and was constructed combining copper and brass. The monument was inaugurated in September 2018, with the park having played host to rock concerts, electric music festivals, cultural events, and more.

West Bali National Park
Covering nearly 20,000 hectares of natural landscape, the West Bali National Park is a protected area home to hundreds of species of wildlife and fauns. Located on the northwestern tip of Bali, the park includes forests, mangroves and savannas. It includes various coral reefs along its shores. Visitors can enjoy an array of treks and hikes through the park; however a pass is required for entry. Passes are available at the two main park headquarter offices and cost IDR 40,000 per person. Much of the park remains off-limits to visitors due to its protected status, but the areas available to visitors offer some of the island’s most stunning natural beauty.

Bali Bird Park
Opened in 1994, the Bali Bird Park houses more than 1,000 birds across 250 species in a 2,000 square meter space. The aviary has been landscaped to provide the look and feel of natural habitats for many bird species, as well as a medley of botanical collections. The park includes more than 52 species of palms and jungle habitats, as well as three lakes that host water bird species. An on-site breeding program continues to help endangered and exotic birds who are later released into the wild. Visitors can also enjoy a mind-blowing 4D cinema experience with surround-sound films devoted to the park’s bird species.
